What You’ll Do Every Day
Your main responsibility is to deliver excellent customer service to health plan members, focusing on educating them about benefits and plan options.
You will handle inquiries by phone and email, document transactions, and escalate unresolved issues when needed, always ensuring HIPAA compliance.
You’ll interact regularly with members, providers, internal staff, and coordinate with various departments for issue resolution.
Besides supporting retention projects, expect standard call center metrics, including productivity, attendance, and quality adherence.
Departmental meetings and trainings are ongoing, so ongoing improvement and learning are integral to the role.
